Elizabeth Howell Graduates from Wells College

2011 Jun 8

Elizabeth Howell of East Syracuse, NY, daughter of Ms. Wendy Hanrahan, received a bachelor's degree from Wells College. Elizabeth majored in Performing Arts with a concentration in Theatre and minored in Art History. She received Wells' Kate Clugston '14 Prize in Theatre.

In spite of an overcast sky and predicted showers, the ceremony took place on the shore of Lake Cayuga, on the lawn of the Aurora Inn on May 28. The Commencement address was given by literary agent, book editor and member of the College's class of 1992 Laurie Munroe Abkemeier. One hundred thirty-five Wells students earned their diplomas this year, as part of the College's 143rd Commencement ceremonies.
